The Global Women Engineers Affinity Group purpose includes:
- Mutually support each other by building community through media (Website, Facebook, magazine, etc), partnerships, and metrics where members are able to share knowledge, concerns, and experiences among themselves and allies
- To increase professional development through speaker bureau, WE and WELocal presence, Industry presence, and webinar and articles
- To increase empowerment through leadership pipeline, highlight accomplishments on social media, and awards
- Increase understanding and commitment to the value of diversity and inclusion as an integral part of SWE culture.
